Diocletian Hotel & Residence with Splitska Kuća Zdravlja (Split)
The Diocletian Hotel & Residence in Split, connected with Splitska Kuća Zdravlja (House of Health), offers senior friendly living in a modern hotel-style setting. The complex combines hotel services, medical care, and assistance under one roof. Seniors enjoy comfort, safety, and proximity to professional medical services.
The hotel is centrally located on a hill with stunning views over Split and the sea. Within minutes, residents can reach the old town, the Riva promenade, and Bačvice beach. Rooms and apartments are spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with large, high-quality beds, barrier-free bathrooms, emergency systems, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and balconies.
Medical care is provided through the in-house medical center and private clinics within the same complex, offering specialties such as cardiology, orthopedics, endocrinology, and physiotherapy. The Carmen Residence in Opatija is a modern, exclusive senior residence overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It is located in a quiet hillside area above the city center—only a 10-minute walk from the promenade and downtown. The architecture is bright, clear, and functional, with barrier-free access, an elevator, and senior-friendly apartments.
Each of the 33 apartments has its own terrace or balcony with sea view. The apartments feature modern kitchens, smart home technology, and emergency systems. A nursing team is not permanently on-site but can be organized upon request (local mobile nursing service). 24-hour assistance is provided by on-site staff available around the clock.
There is no in-house restaurant—meals are delivered daily by an external catering service. The focus is on privacy and tranquility. For social activities, residents can visit nearby cafés, parks, and the famous Lungomare promenade. The residence is in a quiet, elegant neighborhood on a steep hill with a view of Kvarner Bay—peaceful yet central.
